Cogniss hosts a workshop at SXSW Sydney 2023

Cogniss is proud to have conducted a workshop, ‘No-code, no problem: Design & create a health app’ at SXSW’s inaugural event in Sydney. 

Hailing from Austin, Texas, South by Southwest (SXSW) is a globally renowned tech, film, culture and music festival that annually attracts tech leaders, filmmakers and celebrities from around the world. 

Our Head of Customer Success, Ryan Miller, teamed up with Bec Nguyen, a leading UX expert and the founder of Upbeat Digital, to run the one-hour workshop.

The initial part of the workshop explored the fundamentals of user experience (UX) design thinking process and its application to digital health problems, which is essential groundwork before developing a health solution. The second part of the workshop covered the pros and cons of top no-code platforms, how to find the right development approach, and what to consider regarding compliance.

Through hands-on activities, participants had the chance to experience the process of planning and designing an app build.

“The workshop was a great opportunity to discuss the power of no-code approaches and demonstrate how other innovators are using no-code to make an impact in the digital health landscape,” Ryan shared. 

“What a fantastic turnout! The enthusiasm in the room was palpable as we delved into the intricacies of UX design, uncovering the endless benefits of Cogniss and their seamless no-code approach to transforming the digital health app space,” Bec said.
